What We Work On
Our training focuses on creating calm, reliable dogs that can better navigate every day life, both at home and in public.
Throughout their stay, dogs participate in training sessions, supervised play with other dogs, passive training within the home, and field trips to local parks and stores.

In-Home Board & Train
We specialize in board and train programs, where dogs are integrated into daily life rather than placed in a traditional kennel environment. Dogs staying with us are exposed to real-world situations both at home and in public. They will experience structure, kids, other dogs, field trips and farm animals.
Because dogs live closely with our family during training, we only accept dogs that are safe to be around children and other dogs, and are comfortable spending appropriate periods of time in a crate.

Boarding for Trained Dogs
Maintain your dog's training while you are away by boarding with us. Because we already know your dog, returning clients benefit from familiar routines and consistent expectations.
Past clients can board for $30 per night.

If you have not trained with us but have done training with another dog training company, dog(s) may be accepted for boarding at $45 per night.
Our Process
1. Schedule a free consultation to determine if our program is a good fit. Consultations are typically done over the phone.
2. Schedule training with a deposit (25% of a total program cost). Our program is $800 per week, with most dogs typically staying for two weeks. This includes a training collar, leash, and three lessons. For off-leash training and certain behavioral cases, we exclusively use remote collars from E-Collar Technologies. Remote collars are not included in program pricing.
3. Drop your dog off at our farm. At drop off, owners are able to walk through and see exactly where their dog will be staying (50% of remaining program balance is due at drop-off).
4. Receive updates multiple times a week, including pictures and videos of your dog's progress.
5. Complete your 3 lessons. Lesson one: dog is brought home and owners learn how to reinforce household manners (final balance is due). Lesson two: owners learn leash walking and handling skills using the heel command. Lesson three: review any remaining commands and address any final questions. Owner follow-through is essential for long-term success.

What makes us different?
-
Megan is a Starmark Academy School for Dog Trainers graduate. She has owned and operated her own kennels. She has also managed Pavlov Dog Training in Denver, CO.
-
There are 2 trainers in the home! Megan's husband Blake has been working alongside her since she graduated dog training school.
-
There are children and other pets in the home. Most board and train programs take place a traditional kennel setting, which often lacks real-world household distractions.

-
We know owner follow-through is essential for success, which is why we include update videos that explain the training process as well as multiple follow-up lessons.
-
Dogs are not sent home until we are satisfied with their progress. If additional training time is needed, we will extend their stay at no cost to you.

-
Our home is located on our farm. We have wide open spaces for training and exploring!

-
We take a maximum of 2 dogs at a time. Our low numbers allow us to give your dog more attention. This is also perfect for dogs that become stressed in larger group settings.
